1. How Starknet Scales Ethereum
Starknet operates on the foundation of STARK-based ZK-Rollup, also known as a validity rollup. This technology, while innovative and laden with opportunity, is still in its nascent stages and often difficult to understand due to its complexity.
Starknet commissioned us to produce a series of educational videos aimed at demystifying the workings of the technology in layman's terms.
Aimed at both developers and the general audience in the sector, our main objectives were to enhance their understanding of the underlying technological concepts and emphasize the potential opportunities it could unlock.
Mapping out the core conceptual models and the relationships between them in the early stages gave us a solid foundation to build from

From a design and build perspective there were two core aspects to this project:
The animations themselves
An application that houses the animations
Before diving into technical execution, it was imperative for us to create a narrative that was coherent, easily comprehensible, and effectively conveyed the crucial elements of the technology.
To achieve this, we conducted multiple workshops with the Starknet educational team. This collaborative effort ensured that we fully grasped the foundational concepts of the technology. Armed with this understanding, we proceeded to storyboard and experiment with various narrative structures, aiming to identify the most effective approach for delivering the content.
We settled on a sequence of four distinct chapters. The initial chapter provides a broad overview, addressing the current scalability challenges of L1 and illustrating how a transaction navigates through the L2 system. The following chapters then delve deeper, each zeroing in on specific elements of this narrative, such as the sequencer, prover, L1 validator, and so on.
We utilised motion design and a common visual language to transition users from broad overviews to intricate details.
